OVERVIEW OF WORK

Clayton’s 23 years of Landscaping experience and your needs for your garden, are combined to ensure your garden suits your requirements.

STYLE

During Clayton’s partnership with the founder of Paarman Landscapes, much of the company’s work was produced in “African Zen” style. A Camps Bay garden in this style was featured on Top Billing. However, Clayton has no signature style, preferring to give each client what best suits the client’s life-style, the site, any existing buildings and plants which the client might wish to retain, while taking into account the Cape’s prevailing winds, the climate and any “borrowed landscape” in terms of views and plants in neighboring gardens. Clayton enjoys “Greener Options” by encouraging clients to use Bokashi bins, compost heaps, rain water harvesting etc.

CHOICE OF PLANTS

Clayton’s preference is to use indigenous plants wherever possible, taking into account the water-challenged summers of the Western Cape.
